Just an eye test observation without any stats but it's eerie how similar they are.

Ja Morant and Steve Francis the highflying highlight reel PG's.

Desmond Bane and Cuttino Mobley the sharpshooting SG defenders who meshed perfectly to their counterparts.

When together they all played superb and were duos on the rise.

Steve and Cuttino get split up due to a trade and both emotionally no longer really invested into their teams and their games decline.

Ja and Desmond get split up due to a trade and both emotionally no longer really invested into their teams and their games decline.

The only difference is Ja and Desmond are younger and may be able to turn it around.

I don’t have a lot of hope in Ja turning it around unless he goes to a very disciplined team. I hope he goes to Miami for his sake and NBA fans sake. Not sure what other team/organization I think could turn him around.

Then again….miami night life might not be the move. Who knows.

Cuttino Mobley was still quite good post Houston. Different team situations and stuff, but he didn't fall off

The comparison sounds like its in the ballpark.

Trading Cat, thus splitting up Francis and Mobley, for Doug Christie was a terrible move for Orlando.
