Just a bad planting of his foot.

Giddey moves like an overweight center. His movements aren't probably THAT slow but God they look like they are. He's been relying heavily on switches and transition offense. That's okay but the defense is still a big problem.

Yeah this is not one of those. That is maybe the best pure ankle breaker in NBA history. If this happened on a playground, I wouldn't even believe it. I would think the defender is exaggerating it.
