Monday 11/10 NBA Game Thread

Post#1 » by bisme37 » Mon Nov 10, 2025 5:02 pm

Oh hey you guys it's a Monday night chock full of basketbally-type things

- Wemby and the #2 in West Spurs head to Chicago, battle Giddey and the #4 in East Bulls
- #1 in East Pistons go for their 7th straight win as they host Wizards on Peacock
- Clippers host Hawks on NBATV
- #2 in East Cavs go for 5th win in a row as they visit the #5 Heat
- Plus Luka vs Knueppel and more (Luka Knueppel should be Evel Knievel's son imo)

I wish the Spurs vs. Bulls were on national TV.

I'm happy to see the Pistons tho.

Feels like SA always loses in Chicago for some reason, regardless of us being good/bad and vice versa. Spurs are 5-10 against CHI since 2010 :o

Game of the night is easily Spurs @ Bulls. Let's see how the young Bulls handle adversity. Lost two in a row, at home against another young and upcoming team in the Spurs who have won two in a row.

Bulls are 5-0 at home, Spurs are 2-2 on the road.

Anthony Edwards now shooting .500 field, .490 downtown, after 6 games... this could be the year Ant replaces Curry as the NBA's best 3-point shooter.
Last season:
Steph Curry .397 downtown 11.2 attempts per game
Ant Edwards .395 downtown 10.3 attempts per game

Suggs is likely not playing as it's the second game of a b2b.

With that knowledge, I would not have the Magic as the favorites.

Potential big game by Victor if he plays, I wonder how Bulls will guard him. I also watched Frankenstein, didn't love it, but it was interesting.

Why wouldn't he play? He hasn't been on the IR at all so far this season. I imagine they'll do what teams have been doing. Put a smaller guy on him, foul the ish out of him and double him hard on every catch. Fox is going to need to make teams pay for doubling Vic

Thats what I expect. Lots of guys miss games, so I just said it, cause I do not follow Spurs availability reports, nowadays, you can never know with guys.

Spurs/Bulls means I get to listen to Stacey King and Amin. Great. Should be a fun game. Spurs played Fox's schedule almost perfectly.

Also congrats to Cade and Jokic for NBA player's of the week. Well deserved. 8-0 between them which is the most important stat.

saw the video, saw that he literally grabbed his ankle after Hunter shook him but didn't know if he actually got injured...

wow

I would laugh if the dude didn't seriously get hurt but I'm not sure I ever remember a player getting crossed and actually miss the next game due to the injury from getting crossed.

That's gotta hurt the ego
