The ncaa banned dunking because of him.
It forced him to develop the sky hook.
Since college is a place of learning would it be helpful to ban dunking again to force students to learn and develop other moves?

He was developing the skyhook prior to the dunk ban.

Keep the three point shot. Penalize teams one point for every one missed. Refs hold up one hand to indicate a three then hold up the second if it goes in just in case someone doesn't see it. They can make an X with their arms to indicate a one point penalty.

If you can't dunk, you can still do layups, finger rolls, etc. I always thought the connection of banning dunking to the skyhook was odd, because it's not like you would be thinking, oh, I'm going to dunk, but I can't, so skyhook. You would just do layups

let's also ban centers from passing they're too tall and have advantage with court vision. small players can only jog at a brisk pace, no running.

Stick to the current trend and take away travelling entirely. Just let them run with the ball. Bring the toughness.

But it would be too easy to steal the ball from Wembyama while he's dribbling down the court since it takes an extra .1 second or 2 for the ball to get from his hand to the floor, and another .1 second or 2 from the floor to back to his hand.

I thought it was banned in the first place, then eventually allowed. That was the NBA?

What if it's not a zombie apocalypse but an existential threat to the planet that requires evacuation, though? Or a threat that requires us to go and get something from another planet?

It's kind of fun watching those old NCAA games (like the Walton 44 point championship game). They may not have been allowed to dunk, but apparently they were allowed to put the ball right over the top of the rim and just let it drop down. I don't think this severely hurt Walton's ability to dunk on Kareem's head in the 76 WCFs, nor do I think it caused Walton to develop a very good mid-range jumper. Just back in the day, you played a lot in the mid-range so you developed a lot of shots out to about the top of the key.
