Currently watching 76ers Pistons. the floor is all blue and players are wearing black jerseys. I cant really see the ball that well and it makes the product really hard to focus on. There is no contrast!

Why make the product worse? It hurts the eyes to watch. If I tuned in to watch the National Colorful Court Association to watch a floor off I get it. I'm watching (squinting at) basketball.

I cant see $#@! out here.

I agree. I hate the colored floors. Makes watching the game on tv impossible.

Like the passes are ripping around and I cant keep up. You make it bright so people look and then we see a trash product and tune out. Is that really their preference?

So gimmicky. Funny thing is people will probably look back in 50 years and think it’s cool.

Call me old fashioned but the hardwood aesthetic is indispensable. Make different courts for the cup if you gotta but keep the hardwood look and differentiate the presentation in other ways.

I don't even get the colored floors

Just put some small decals on the court so we know it's a cup game

It's like they want you not to watch.

Yea, it can be too much with the colors, hurting the eyes

Honestly I feel like NBA fans here are just yelling at clouds. The courts are ok. Not even close to hurting my eyes.

I don't believe you guys with these blue and black fields of grass. Vid, or it didn't happen.

i even said in the pistons game thread, the nba put out their press release with the cup game floors and they all looked pretty good, mainly because the colours were lighter. i was excited to see the pistons play on that and then the court looked pretty much like previous years with super bold, dark colours and it makes it really tough to see stuff on the broadcast view.

have the paint be coloured with the nba cup colours and put the giant cup logo in the middle of the court and call it a day. it's not that difficult.

100% agree. It's part of basketball fabric, and didn't need 'fixing' any more than traditional home whites or Spalding as the game ball.

Give me a beautifully finished parquet floor, any day over a giant kids' colouring-in book.

The gray San Antonio floor looks kinda cool because it looks like they're playing on assfault. Don't know if people brought their pets, though.

Let's feel happy they do it physically unwatchable in November and not for the playoffs.
