Is Tyus Jones the worst NBA rotation player in the league?

Tyus in all 14 games for the Magic:
1.4ppg, 25.7 FG%, 10.5 3P%, 1.4 apg, 12.7 mpg.
And we all know that Tyus is a terrible defender as well.
I don't think there's anybody worse.

This guy was about to get a nice contract but chose to bet on himself by going to the Suns. Now hes on the verge of being out of the nba not even 2 years later...

Even 40 year old washed Chris Paul is outproducing him. Granted slightly outproducing him.
But yeah I don't see anyone who would want a small guard that's not good on defense and does nothing on offense next season. I'm shocked that Mosley still plays him.

Magic were stupid to trade Cole Anthony.

He used to be the better Jones brother.
Weird how quickly he fell off. He's only 29. Wonder if he's dealing with some off court problems affecting his play?

Then what does that make Memphis who bought the guy out so he can be the 6th man for a winning Milwaukee team lol

Tre is world's better now. One of the most underrated guards in the league.

I was told that he's better than Trae Young.

Anyone know what happened? He's been at the very least solid at every stop.

Last time Orlando had a good point guard was with jameer Nelson. That position hasn’t faired well for them for awhile now.

Seriously what happened to this guy. He went from starting in place of Ja Morant and had people thinking he could be a full time starter to being wet garbage before turning 30. Quite the regression with no memorable career altering injuries along the way

Yeah sometimes you lose gambles on yourself. Still rather be around people who have the guts to consider believing in themselves when it's reasonable to do so. Never understood why sports fans seem to take pleasure in players being wrong and losing money (and it's not like Tyus seems like an a-hole or anything irl).

Did he really fall off though? He did basically the same thing with Washington, then he did around the same thing with Phoenix, but the fit wasn't good. Don't know what's going on this season, but he didn't fall off after Memphis.

He shot the ball decent for Phoenix last year and had a solid A/TO ratio.

He looks like he has lost a step athletically and he was never all that athletic by NBA standards to begin with. Now he can't get past defenders at all and even when he has had a step on the defence after a steal he has been unable to finish because the defenders easily catch up to him. He hasn't gotten to the line even once this season.
He also has no confidence in his shot whatsoever currently, he keeps passing when he is open.

Feels like two weeks ago when he was seen as the best back-up point guard in the league. Is he just washed at age 29?
Also, why does it feel like every guard (temporarily) forgets how to shoot once they sign with Orlando? Last year KCP (although second half of the season was way better), this year Tyus and Bane (but he's already on an upward trend).
