Kobe's shooting selection

There are few numbers I want you to pay attention to:
Kobe has a .527 eFG% in the first 10 seconds of a possession, while the team overall reaches .573.
Considering how we're not in a situation when the team is hard pressed to take a shot, would Kobe's relative low efficiency be a sign of bad decision making?
This is not about Kobe as much as about the use of this indicator. Other players I've noticed who might be taking bad shots too early are Davis, McGrady, Anthony and even Ginobili (this was totally unexpected).
