hehe the players over time traded their BADASS short shorts for longer, baggier shorts-ballet outfits...

i can't remember the last time i watched a game where play wasnt stopped every 30-60 seconds..its rare to go on a stretch of 2-3 minutes without a whistle.

edit: actually dresses are more appropriate for the visual..

Then don't watch it.

Im not watching as much...Like i said its turned sissy, but if you still want to watch i wont question why *wink wink*

The NBA is soft, no doubt about it, and its a sad day

I still love Basketball...Will still continue to play, in a league where men play, elbows are thrown, getting a rebound is earned and so on

But as for watching, i wont be as much...I will watch a sport that real men play like australian football, rugby or even the NFL

Enforcers/enforcer-types
Ron Artest
Matt Harpring
Kevin Garnett
Kendrick Perkins
Scot Pollard
Raja Bell (though not so much this year so far, probably because of not being healthy yet)
Robert Horry (not just because of the foul on Nash, has been a tough-minded and tenacious player for awhile)
Jason Maxiell
Kurt Thomas
Joel Pryzbilla
Ben Wallace
Andres Nocioni (not the same player he used to be overall, which I guess is because of injury and losing weight, but still has some noticeable nastiness)
Tyson Chandler
Kenyon Martin
Chuck Hayes
Bonzi Wells
Francisco Garcia (not big mass-wise, but he consistently gives good fouls and sometimes hard fouls, also a tough player and solid defender)
Jeff Foster
Reggie Evans
Jamaal Magloire
Nene
DeSagana Diop
Josh Howard
Udonis Haslem
James Posey
Rasheed Wallace
Kwame Brown

Rising/possible enforcers
Shelden Williams
Dwight Howard (probably)
Paul Millsap
Craig Smith
Chris Richard
Leon Powe (possibly)
Tyrus Thomas (possibly)
Joakim Noah
Andrew Bynum
Ronny Turiaf
Joel Anthony (Possibly; this guy is intriguing as a complementary big man from what I've read. He looks like he'd be an enforcer, as well.)
Cedric Simmons (possibly)
Mardy Collins
Emeka Okafor (if he gets some nastiness to him, which for the most part, I don't think will be there. Though I do think he is one in the way of his quality defense and rebounding. Just not as a whole yet.)
Greg Oden (probably)
Al Horford (no, not because of the Ford foul)

Stop living in the past. The NBA has changed, pining away for what was is pointless. The NBA is a global product now, and image is key to selling the product.

I miss good referee's; in every game [not just basketball], there all gash atm.

But yeah I do miss the "tougher" players definatly, I hate catering to winging players.

Who doesn't miss the 83-79 mid 90's clutch and grab fests. Clearly those players were tougher and more fundamentally sound than the softies running around the perimeter today flopping on each other.

The whole "Family Friendly/Global Image" is what made the NBA soft.
