Bad call by the refs on Mek's catch and carry over... awesome effort by the Bobcats. Detroit were fairly lucky to get out of there with a win.

Bucks coming out hard after the loss to the Lake Show, against Phoenix - interesting

Will Phoenix be able to do what's necessary to win?

It doesn't matter if it's in the cylinder if it's still heading towards the basket on the initial shot. Alleyoop passes have to clearly be for that purpose otherwise you have to wait for them to bounce off the rim. If you finish an alleyoop that looks like it's going in that is offensive goal-tending

From moral victory to actual victory?

Boston is overrated. Washington just took it to them and this was with a bunch of BS calls in Boston's favor. Washington might be legit in the East. Butler is a beast. Can't believe they got him for only Kwame Brown....mitch got pwned in that trade....but I'm happy for him cause he deserves to be a first option. He's amazing as a #1.

at that point butler wasn't this good, and people still felt kwame had potential to be unlocked.

Both Butler and Jamison had bad games on offense. Washington actually won this on defense.

That is clearly BS, because Charlotte got beat by the same exact situation last season against the Knicks on the David Lee tip in. The ball was parallel with the rim before Mek tried to tip it in, meaning it clearly wasn't going to go in. Like I said, its just another case of "lets screw the Bobcats" by the NBA, and lets carry our favored teams and superstars because we don't want any parody, because that is bad. The Bobcats were playing with 8 people, 1 guard (a SG - Matt Carroll) and had their damn SF/PF play PG for the first time ever, and actually had the Pistons beat. But the refs wouldn't allow it.

Congratulations Wizards, the game reminded me of the Nets-Celtics game the other day only the Wizards were able to close the deal while the Nets let an 8-point lead slip away -_-...

I love you as a poster, NF...one of my favorites, but your idiot team missed so many freethrows. They basically wrapped, seal and delivered the win to Boston.

umm so if someone shoots the ball and misses the rim and a player catches the ball above his head and lays it in.. it is automatic goal tending? so if okafor brought it down then it isn't? or was it inside the rim, because it clearly looked like it was outside.

Charlotte down by 1, six seconds left in OT, J-Rich shoots, is short (doesn't hit the rim, nor was it going to), Mek tries to tip it in, misses, Nazr follows and scores at the buzzer, but they call offensive goaltending on Mek. I can guarantee you that if roles were reversed and the Pistons did that, it would have been a score.

heartbreaking. Take solace in the fact that NBA refs suck.

wow come on now try to be objective ppl that was a pretty obvious call to me. The ball was going to hit the rim, the announcers got all excited about the call being wrong but then they couldn't find the angle that made them look right
