2nd post: In short a very good career but not a hall of famer.

Afterwards, you said you understood how some people could feel otherwise. That's not you softening your stance, that's you adding a caveat.

As an example, Antoine Walker is garbage. I can understand why some people feel otherwise.

Does that mean I don't think he's garbage? No, It means I can understand why some people wouldn't (again, it was an example - no I don't understand why they'd feel otherwise)...

1st post: One sentence statement that states my opinion of him not being a hall of famer.

2nd post: An explanation why not. If someone wrote that they felt Antoine Walker is a hall of famer I wouldn't include "how some people could feel otherwise." because no reasonable person could feel otherwise. That statement was an acknowledgment a legitimate case could be made (even if I felt it was wrong).

Whatever. Either way, your stance changed in the thread from no way (which is why I argued in the first place), to borderline. I'll accept it and move on.

Whatever, my opinion didn't change, but tell yourself that if it makes you feel better.

wait, what? his second post stated he thought zo was a borderline HOFer. and thats still his stance now. so how did it change?

Zo's a HOF, a borderline one maybe, but he definitely should get consideration for it.

It's not totally outrageous to say he's a HOF Center. People forget how good Zo was during his prime because he played during the years of Shaq/Hakeem/D. Robinson/Ewing etc.

You can find reasons to put him in, and you can find reasons not to put him in. But, you can do that for just about anything in life, too....

What did his first post say again?

you do know that "borderline" means that he could be in or not be in the HOF? he thinks zo is a borderline HOFer, but wont/doesnt deserve to make it (which he stated in his initial post, and then clarified in depth in the subsequent posts). which is a perfectly fine and reasonable position. still dont see why you felt the need to twist his position...

Not HOF IMO, but you can make an argument either way.

I think he's a Hall of Famer; not first ballot, but eventually.
