So the Magic Officially suck

Post#1 » by ajmal » Thu Jan 17, 2008 3:20 am

What is going on with the Magic. Every year this seems to be the case; where they start out strong and suck to the end.

They are in desperate need of a point guard.

Tonight we lost because of SVG insisting on playing Dooling and Arroyo, who both just happen to suck.

seems to be happening every year. Starting to realize Lewis does not effect the team in the win column.

Jameer Nelson is a good person, good character, but man does his game suck. The Magic have a black hole at that position. They don't have a starting 2 either and Lewis at the 4 doesn't look so good anymore.

Well Jameer got hurt in the 3rd quarter tonight.

Even though we've choked against bad teams, the rest of the season is going to be a much easier schedule, we've had one of the toughest schedules in the league up to this point. We don't go past the Mississippi again this season.

Nelson would make a great backup PG. We just can't seem to find a starter...

Well they have had the hardest schedule in the league and are still 7 games over .500. They also played several games in China for preseason.

This Bobcats game was the 3rd back to back in 10 days, of which all the games were on the road except one, and all but one were on a west coast trip.

Here are some interesting facts.

The Magic don't cross the Mississippi the rest of the season.

The Magic only have one more back to back the rest of the season. They had 13 back to backs all season, and through 41 games - half the season - they've already played 12 of them.

The Magic have played 9 more road games than home games this season.

The Magic play the least amount of games the rest of the season than any other team.

Uh..everything I have read and heard says Houston or Memphis has had the toughest schedule.

In fact, by Strength of Schedule, Orlando is at a measly 15th.

Despite their good start, it was apparent from Halloween that they had glaring holes in the roster. With that said, they're one of six teams in the EC over .500 - so I think it's an overstatement to say they suck.

I think he was speaking in terms of back to backs and road games.

I know the Warriors have had a litany of road games as well.

I don't know, I have a hard time buying the tired excuse when they are just playing boo boo ass sub .500 eastern conference teams.

Call me a hater, I just ain't buying it.

Ya, I know. It brings up an interesting question though. Would you rather play some of the elite teams routinely while having days off inbetween, or play horrendous teams frequently on back to backs? I say give me the garbage teams.

so what's your angle? i mean, you just want to pull their pants down? ok, they suck...what else do you want to be said here? it is, what it is...simple and plain...no need in drilling down lower, and lower...if a fan of the team tries to create reason, let them...it's how some people cope...it's not really necessary to kick them in the teeth while their down...i imagine that it feels great to be a fan of the greatest team in NBA history, such as yourself, but not everyone has the luxury, someone has to root for the losers too...
