Since he won't play a single minute in the NBA in 07/08, can he win ROY in 08/09?

If this has already been discussed, leave me alone, what do you want from me.

I won't believe this unless I actually see a link to an official source.

As long as he hasn't played in an NBA game, he's a rookie. I mean, David Robinson won ROY two years after he was drafted.

Several Blazers fans have asked this question to the team, and the answer is that he WILL BE eligible. The team got that answer from the league office.

I'm sure he will be able to. TJ Ford played in the Rookie/Sophomore game in his third year.

cant find the link because what you're saying is BS?

Hes a rookie in the year he plays his first game, NOT the year he was drafted, so therefore, if he plays his first game next year, he is eligible for the ROY next year
