lol, that team really looks bad looking back on it but Phil should also be credited.

Don't forget inconsistent Lamar Odom who dropped just 6 in Seattle when the lakers needed him most.

Lamar averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds last season and 19 and 13 in the playoffs

Dwayne Wade and Lebron James would love to have him im sure

Is this the campaign slogan this week?

But seriously, Smush, Luke, Kwame. Smush, out of the league. Kwame, backup, at best. Luke, backup.

3rd option at best on a championship team.

No player has ever won the MVP with a seeding below 3, and the only player to do it with the 3rd seed was MJ in 89 with some redic stats like 35pps, 3 spg, 6 rpg 2 bpg. So no Kobe doesn't deserve to have been the MVP

  really? why would wade want to trade his captain in haslem, who is his leader, and who in my mind is a much better player in terms of consistancy, and mental toughness, then odom. get it through your head odom is a 3rd option at best.

with what he gets paid, i feel sorry for the lakers.. they are getting ripped off with his sorry a$$

Think you're making a coach of the year argument here for PJ. Remember how far Kobe took LA the year before he came back

Not when the team didn't come close to 50 wins.

But Kobe has to given a special award.. Cmon..

Smush?
Kwame?

That is playoffs in the West! Bynum injury should't be this bad if at least we have someone who can play in the D-League. Kwame is not D-League material.

LeBron took his team to 50 wins with injured Hughes, second year Varejao, PG rotation consisting of Eric Freaking Snow and Damon Freaking Jones and Donnyel Marshall getting some serious minutes. Oh, and a rookie coach who still has no idea what offensive system is as opposed to one of two or three best coaches EVER. Now, that's impressive.

Getting a team to the playoffs as a 7 seed isn't some great achievement. The lower playoff spots are always filled with mediocre teams.

Your dead wrong buddy. In the West, unlike the East you can enter the playoffs under .500. I feel that if you can get your team into the playoffs with players like Odom, Brown, Walton, Cook, and Smush in your main rotation the your the one that needs to get that damn MVP.
