So, the Warriors are hanging on to 8th place in the Western Conference with a 25-17 record. That translates to roughly 48 wins at season's end.

Does anyone know what is the maximum number of 50-win teams a conference has ever had?

I think that Utah went 44-38 one year and missed the playoffs which is I think a record. Imagine - this year, there might be 2 teams with 46-47 wins that don't make the playoffs.

Wouldn't that be weird.

Yeah man even I was looking up for when a conference was as good as the West is right now.

minnesota missed the playoffs after a 44-38 season in 04-05, remember at the beginning of the season people were trying to convince themselves that the east was equal again?

Who cares, East > West. Just wait until the All-Star game.

ASG is a competition of who can show off better. East has the better individual players, but the West has the better teams.
