Which team(s) are the best under a .500 record?

West:

Sacramento, LA Clippers, Memphis, Seattle, Minnesota

East:

Atlanta, New Jersey, Indiana, Chicago, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Philadelphia, New York, Miami

Chicago and NJ have the talent, they just can't win.

Sacramento. They've battled through injuries all season long and have at least consistently played with passion...

...Unlike the Nets...

West - Sacramento (especially now with Artest and Bibby healthy)
East - Nets

I think all of those West teams will still be under .500 at the end of the season - the rest of the West is so close, the top 10 teams are going to be showing up every night.

In the East, a couple of Atlanta, New Jersey, Indiana, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Charlotte could end up over .500 depending on who steps up. My guess would be Chicago and New Jersey.

Hawks could be well over .500 if they played with the same effort and intensity each game (often times they go from a great quarter to a god awful quarter), but they're too inconsistent to be considered a good team just yet. Talent's there, but the mindset isn't.

I think it's clearly the Kings, they had bad luck with injuries (martin, bibby, ron)

The Knicks are the best 13-27 team in NBA history

easily New Jersey..they've shown flashes of being a good team many times..the problem with them is that they have BY FAR, the least heart I've seen in an NBA team in a long time..

Sacramento is good too, just dealt with injuries..

This is Sacramento.
Everyone says the west has 10 playoff worthy teams and two will miss probably because of injuries. I think it's really 11 but the Kings have already had their injuries so people don't realize that their a better team. I wouldn't be shocked if they still make the playoffs but it will take a good amount of luck. If they were in the east I think they'd end up the 4th or 5th seed pretty easily.

Definately Sacramento.

And I would be surprised if any sub .500 team could defeat them right now, with the way they are playing and with their full team back.

Right now Sacramento by far. Then I would go with Atlanta and New Jersey.

Obviously the healthy Clippers should be up there with Sacto, but they are not healthy right now.

The questions not fair - you have almost twice as many options in the East!
