He went for the face-up fadeaway, didnt have an awkward landing by any means, but just fell after his feet made contact with the floor.

Hope he's alright. Didnt look like an injury at all.

really? What would be awkward to you?

Lakers are so much better than Nuggets especially when healthy. Depth is usually a factor late in games but in a series the Lakers might swep Denver.

Denver playing horrible D right now - doubling Kobe, leaving shooters wide open, not defending the paint, doing everything to help the Lakers practice their shooting and layup drill.

I didnt see any twist on the live play. He seemed to land on both feet like any other fadeaway taker would. I then just saw him drop to the floor.

They later showed the replay and I acknowledged I was wrong, but you mustve skipped over that post.

George Karl's gameplan

GK seems to think that forcing us to shoot wide open shots is the way to stop us. He did the same thing last year when we had like 36 assists on 42 field goals.

So if the Lakers hang on and win this game, they'll remain the 3rd seed in the West.

You know what that gets them if the season ended today? A first round matchup with the San Antonio Spurs. Ouch, the West is going to be a dogfight this year, even more than in the past few years. There are at least 6 teams with a legit chance of making it to the finals out West.

Kobe is showing what it means to be a great player. to have that much of an impact on the game without it showing up in the stats is incredible.

Why do the Lakers waste possessions going to Kwame in the post. They should go to Kobe or Lamar down low and that's it. Run the offense through those two. Kwame should just focus on D and rebounding and get some putbacks.
