AGREED. I don't understand why they have divisions in the NBA. I mean NBA teams play teams in their division 4 times. They also play some teams not in their division but their conference 4 times. Therefore, it's not like NBA teams records are heavily effected by the division they are in. There should be an Eastern Conference and a Western Conference. Take the top 8 teams and be done with it.
True, Also as you advance the best teams should play the teams with the worst records. When GS won last year they should have had to play the toughest matchups... not Dallas's cupcake matchups.
