It's really the combination of Rivers and the depth issue. Without a backup pg who can handle the ball under pressure, they're going to struggle when thing really clamp down in the playoffs. I think unfortunately they'll lose in the conference finals (not sure to whom though).
However, I think if Ainge is smart about his acquisitions over the summer, and assuming the big 3 can continue to play well for at least another season, that they've got a fantastic shot to win it next year.

Right now the Celtics look just as good at home as they do on the road, sort of like the Miami Heat in 1997. Personally I think a list of about 8 teams can win it all this year.
