I don't care, as long as we sucker a draft pick out of someone, I don't care where he goes.

He has it all really.

The athleticism, the jumper(form too), energetic and erratic on defense(he's improving); he just doesn't have it in his mind to memorize plays and read situations clearly.

One day he'll get it, but definitely not in Minnesota.

If he's not getting enough playing time on the Wolves, where else is he going to get more? The wolves are about as weak as it gets at the wings right now.

Nobody is going to give up anything of value for him. If they do and he blows up, he will just leave (UFA) for whoever gives him the most money.

He's not good enough to ask for a trade. He should be pretty happy in Minnesota, because he wouldn't get PT on any other team.

Why do people think he has a good form? He doesn't. He barely even gets off the floor on his shots. He has shown nothing in his game besides being able to dunk.

His 3 point shots are set, which some people complain about, but he shoots a good percentage from 3 and I've seen his 3 point shot get blocked once in my life, so I don't see the issue there. His mid range jumper he elevates on, his form is very good in that regard.

There are teams that will give Green playing time, Cleveland stands out as a team that could use him (though I don't think their style of play would fit with Gerald very well), Indiana could use him, the Sonics could use him, and maybe even the Lakers with Ariza being hurt.

Most people weren't declaring Gerald a bust last year, and the only thing that's changed is he hasn't been given an opportunity to succeed in Minnesota. Tell me, what was he supposed to do in sporadic minutes? He's always been the type of shooter who needs consistent minutes to consistantly perform, and aside from shooting the rest of his game's been better than it was last year. They declined his option immediately after preseason, and such then it became increasingly clear that they had no intentions of keeping him in the future. He's been told that his time would come and he'd get a chance, but we're half way through the season and that hasn't happened. He has every right to demand out at this point.

Ideally Gerald will end up in an uptempo system where he's getting consistent minutes next year. The same thing turned JR Smith's career around, and Gerald's a pretty similar player minus the off the court issues and some JR motivational issues.

I don't know where this ranks on the "worst players to publicly demand a trade" list, but it has to be pretty high.

I'd trade Patrick O'Bryant for him. How about it Wolves fans?

Would Gerald get any sort of playing time in GS? If so...they'd be a damn near perfect fit.

He wouldn't get PT on any contender to be honest. His best chance would be getting traded to the Knicks. I'm sure Isiah could have him averaging 15 shot attempts per game in no time.

We're actually looking for a SF of the future in GS. S-Jax isn't going to be around forever and Barnes/Azubuike could both be gone this offseason.

if by uptempo you mean run and dunk then yes he can. And he can hit the 3.

But you could save yourself mony by letting him stay in MINN, and then having him as a option to sign instead of Barnes and Azub.

IOW, no one that could give Green any minutes should trade for him because they can sign him long-term for cheap if he remains under 15mpg in MINN. That way they can leverage him over the years of his development more then giving his agent leverage for the re-sign.

And he's a project still, a project that needs minutes and a lot of patience.
