Hypothetical: The following players are all free agents. The cap situation of teams is typical, some over, some with room to spend. How much would the following players be worth, and would any remain unsigned?
Kwame Brown
Mike Dunleavy
Jordan Farmar
Brendan Haywood
Stromile Swift
Donyell Marshall
Stephen Jackson
Brad Miller

Stephen Jackson would be a good role bench player on a contending team, but he's not the type of player that mediocre teams would want to rely on to carry them for the season.
Only reason why he's "Captain Jack" on the Warriors is because Nellie is capable of handling crazy people like him.

you are right, haywood in no way fits those three titles. In fact, I can't really think of anything to call him other than servicable.

you think Marshall is going to be in demand? His last two years were mediocre at best, he is aging and this year he isn't playing at all. He is probably the least likely to be in the league next year.
I would probably give up on Swift too but someone always seems to see the body and thinks the head will come around. Kwame is Swift with much superior post defense, he'll get a contract to be a backup center somewhere at least.

Marshall has been injured all season but I don't really see anyone offering him anything more than the vets min. All those other guys will be signed by someone, the question is whether anyone is going to offer any of them the MLE or greater. I don't think any of them will

DUnleavy is worth more than 3-4 mill. Isnt he putting up great stats this year? I have him on my fantasy team and i know he is doing good in that.

You don't think anyone would want a 7 footer putting up 14/9/3.5/1/1?

NBA Owners pay up, I think a little higher is more realistic:
Kwame Brown - Around 2 Million
Mike Dunleavy - 6-7 Million
Jordan Farmar - 5-6 Million
Brendan Haywood - 7-8 Million
Stromile Swift - 1-2 Million
Donyell Marshall - Vets Min
Stephen Jackson - 6-7 Million
Brad Miller - 6-7 Million
