Z has played well but no center in the East deserves to go to the All Star game this year.

Brendan Haywood is playing OK. But you are right, this season will be the best chance ever for any scrub EC center to be an All-Star. Imagine Dalembert getting the nod...

Yes, even Howard is being terrible.
I know, I know, I understood what you're saying and that this is about the reserves, but I just had to take the chance...

I went with Okafor on my team, but I could easily see Big Z or Bogut get it over him.

ANYONE but Sheed said Detroit Basketball, because Sheed does not want to go and will get in more trouble with David Stern if he keeps repeating it every year.
Flip Saunders has already tried to 'cover' for him by saying it's an honor but I didn't have a problem when Sheed said "I am looking forward to the All Star Break to go to the beach and have a few cocktails with my wife".

It's gonna be Bosh.
No way Shaq gets in averaging the worst numbers of his career on a team that's stinkin' up the joint. The coaches are smarter than that. The coaches, unlike the fans, can vote to put a player into the all star team without being bound to the position they're listed on the ballet. I expect we'll see Bosh voted in as a center.

It's really quite sad that the East may have to send one of Ilgauskas, Haywood, Okafor, or Sheed to the All-Star game while the West will probably not be able to send all of Ming/Stoudemire/Camby/Kaman. Heck even Tyson Chandler would be a better pick than the other east centers.

Bosh would be the center from the East I would imagine. Coaches are smart enough to avoid denying someone like Hamilton or Calderon just to include Bogut or Zydrunas

Z has been better than Sheed this year, though.

You think that's sad just look at the PG situation.
Kidd is reserve all-star material at this point and is East starter. Backups? maybe Claderon?
West has: MVP Chris Paul, Nash, Deron Williams, Allen Iverson, Baron Davis, Tony Parker, possible Roy
