Dirk will make it IMO. The Mavericks have one of the best records in the west and despite his season not being the standards it was at last season he's still averaging 22/8/4 on 48%. I wouldn't be that surprised though.

Im not bashing this pick but why do you think he deserves it over Pierce? Pierce has him beat nearly across the board, defends the other teams best wing player and does it for a better team. I think he deserves to be the Celts 2nd all star more than Hedo deserves to be the Magics.

No doubt Hedo has been nasty this year though.

Funny how a week ago when hollinger said Jose Calderon was an all-star everyone laughed. Now everyone is including him. Maybe there is hope for him yet.

Nuggets are currently in the ninth spot in the west. They don't deserve three All Stars. I don't see Camby making it.

Here are my picks:

Billups
Johnson
Forwards
Butler
Turkoglu
Center
Bosh
Wild Cards
Pierce
G. Wallace

West

Guards
Nash
Paul
Forwards
Nowitzki
Boozer
Center
Stoudemire
Wild Cards
Roy
Ginobili

The real question here is who are going to be the West forwards. Theres a choice between Nash, Paul, Williams, Roy, and Parker. Very tough decision IMO.

I know these point guards score in the paint a lot, but forwards? Really? Why not add a big bruising guy like Baron Davis to that list.

Why is Joe Johnson getting so much love?

21.6 points on 41% shooting? He has 5.4 assists to 2.63 turnovers, considering he dominates the ball a lot because Atlanta doesn't have a true point, it's not that impressive. Al that and he's on a team playing below .500 ball.

I'm not against picking a player on a below .500 club, but if you're going to pick a player in that spot, he better be having a lights out season. I don't see that with J.J. Someone like Gerald Wallace I could understand.
