Nearly impossible. Both AI and Melo have to have the ball in their hands to be happy and productive, neither are at-the-rim finishers or spot up jump shooters. Would be a horrible fit, and Denver doesn't have anything to give in return that NJ would want back. Their picks aren't going to be worth much, they don't have any significant expirings, and they are already way over the luxury tax as it is.
How exactly is this news?

The Rocky Mountain News is citing an unnamed source from ESPN.COM.
This story is 100% not true, and I have no idea where it came from.

Not necessarily, but that doesn't make a Kidd trade to Denver any more likely. Camby and Najera would work, but that would be a really stupid trade for the Nuggets. All the other high priced players the Nuggets have are on really long contracts (Martin or Nene), something the Nets won't want.

Please put all Jason Kidd information in the 10-page Kidd thread.
