does anybody believe the seeds in the Western Conference will significantly impact any of the series throughout the playoffs? does any team in the West really need the homecourt advantage over other teams in particular? I personally don't believe it'll be affected at all, from 1 to 8..first time in a while I can remember a conference playing out like this..agree/disagree?..

Best conference record is the tiebreaker.

NO would be about the most cupcake 1st seed in eonz. Other than that, the West is a parity party.

i don't think anybody wants dallas. they're kicking butt under the radar this year.

when april 17th rolls around i believe portland and houston will be on the outside looking in

out of the top 8 golden state needs home court the most.

I believe its whoever has the best conference record. As a Blazer fan though, it would be nice if it was head to head matchups that decided it

of course it does, just look at the records.

some road records compared to great home records :

Dallas (11-10) --- 20-3
San Antonio (8-11) --- 20-5
Portland (8-14) --- 18-5
Denver (8-13) --- 19-5
Utah (8-15) --- 20-3

they would sure like homecourt advantage.

The Warriors have the 6th best road record on the league and the third most road wins (15).

That's what is so good about this team, once they start winning more games at home they're going to have an even better record.

To be fair, only games against Western teams should be included. Particularly Western playoff teams. But I digress.

Out of all those teams above San Antonio is the only one that doesn't need home court to win.
