maybe a trade of scenary will help both players, doubt it though.

on a side note, KB20: the word 'length' in your signature banner is spelled wrong lol :P

Hey, OT but just wondering if I can use your avatar. Mine is the non edited version of the pic as you can tell but it's all distorted and yours looks neater :D lol, but if not it's cool.

Why would any team trade for either Collins twin? Is he an expiring?
Stromile Swift is exactly the kind of F-C that New Jersey needs. Now Kidd will have four finishers around him: Carter, Jefferson, Swift, Williams. It may not entice him to stay, but it's another weapon he can actually USE and a talent upgrade.

The question is, will Lawrence Frank even use him? I dont think Frank likes dumb players. I think Swift will be stapled to the bench in under 1 and a half weeks.

What's the motive for Memphis? Aren't their contracts the same length? At least Swift can be a productive back-up that can score a little and block shots. It'd also be interesting to see how he'd play with a guy like Jason Kidd who should make him a MUCH more productive player with the talent that he has. But I doubt this move really entices Kidd to stay longer :-?

the motive is swift getting in the face of their coach in the middle of a game last week, causing him to be suspended for conduct detrimental to the team... i guess this is personal .... anyway i just have one thought....... THANK GOD WE GOT RID OF TWIN HAHAHAHA

Swift is a guy the Nets have shown interest in in the past. Collins is (hypothetically!) a 7-footer who can clog the lane, which the Grizzlies sorely need. Neither can really play much worse right now and neither's way over the hill so why not? It's a low-risk, maybe as high as medium-low reward trade.

It is kinda boring though. I wanna see a blockbuster! :P

Yeah, a one-for-one swap of a disgruntled bench role player signals a firesale. How could it be otherwise, Socrates?

The level of talent in Memphis has declined exponentially today.

Memphis must have a limit of 2 big men drafted in the top 2 that are busts on their roster, they don't want to look silly
