are ownership/GM's starting to care too much about saving money?..I'm also concerned with so many teams rebuilding in a poor way..also, does anyone else find it odd that the Celtics AND Lakers got huge blockbuster trades that were huge ripoffs in the same year? strange..

Well they're in it for the cash rock, so you can't hate on 'em for doing what they do.

obviously, but it becomes too much after a while..Memphis looks horrible in this trade..they got a better offer from Chicago that involved talented players, instead of getting 1 prospect, and some low picks..the cap relief is obviously the main reason, but who the **** is going to end up in Memphis?..

the NBA NEEDS non guaranteed contracts, i've been saying that for months now.

Yeah I honestly don't understand why Memphis did this, they got a PG prospect... But they already had two point guard prospects on their roster in Conley and Lowry...

But isn't Memphis trying to change ownership anyway? So this might have been a move to get that to happen.

The T'Wolves on the other hand are run by a proven idiot so that's basically all you need to know about them.

The NBA got exactly what it wanted(Boston/LA) and I'm sure the owners in Minnesota/Memphis got a nice chunk of change as well...what a sham...

honestly..I don't know whether I believe it or not, but we're going to be hearing a lot of conspiracy talk..Boston got lucky as well, but AT LEAST they got a 20-10 guy..

strange year for the NBA..a referee gambling on the game, and GM's possible conspiring to make deals, so they can get the big market back to relevancy in the NBA..

it's hard to be a fan sometimes..I REALLLLLY hope there isn't a conspiracy involved, because that would be a huge blow..

Well another thing no one considers is that Memphis gets the right to Paul's little brother Marc Gasol lighting it up in europe right now. I can see that as another reason why they would do it. It also has to do with how tight the west is and there is a slight chance lakers might not make the playoffs etc and picks might work out for them.

I find it odd that the Spurs tanked for Duncan

I find it funny as hell people are saying the NBA conspired for Boston, when back in June everyone (well every conspiracy nut) was sure Stern rigged the lottery so they wouldn't get Oden or Durant

Conspiracy talk is ridiculous, is this really how people make themselves feel better when another team gets better than their own?

Actually Marc Gasol is about to become the MVP of his league. He's been playing really well overseas, showing legit post moves as well as 3 point range.
