Questions on Timeouts

I should probably know all this...

How many timeouts does one team get per game? Only some carry over to the second half, right? How does that work? Is there a limitation on per-quarter timeouts or 4th quarter timeouts or timeouts at the end of a game or quarter?

6 time outs. They only carry over until the 4th quarter, where you have 3 (or obviously less if you've used more).

i've watched the NBA for a long time (hundreds of times on TV, 14 times live) and didn't know that
