Wade-All Star Weekend

WTF is Wade doing the skills challenge for or even participating in ALL-STAR weekend if he is as supposely hurt as everyone makes him out to be? I had my doubts about his "injury status" before and this does nothing to eliminate those doubts.

If he is as hurt as "they" say, then don't you think he should be resting over all-star weekend and not playing in a skills challenge and the big game.

He have to go back to the Skills Challenge because he have to defend his title, NBA rules I believe

I find it hard to believe that the league would make one of their "stars" play in the skills challenge if he was truely injured.

if he sits out, people will moan he's not a man; a la kobe playing hurt or anyone else.

if he plays, people will still moan and whine. (see thread)

you can never win with the naysayers or the doubters.

wait who said wade was ever injured ??those were minor injuries hes not injured except for still recovering from the offseason surgeries where he is about 90-95% full recovered

I could care less about getting flamed.

The Heat are 9-37. The worst record in the league. In the **** league. Unbelieveable. They had a 15 game losing streak and who knows how long their current streak is going to go.

You hear "fans" say and read articles about how Wade is hurt and that is a big reason why the Heat are struggling. Or you get people who say Wade can't "carry" a team because he isn't 100%. (I don't expect him to carry them to the championship or even the playoffs but at least a .500 record).

I am just calling BS as I see it.

I don't buy that one bit. I would have alot more respect for him if he did sit out to try to get healthy and help his team win.

Not true, he supposely had a shin injury and a shoulder injury (opposite from one that had surgery)

Wade riley and the Heat organization all said that Wade will not come back till hes fully recovered from his surgeries, they brought him back that means noone should be complaining of his injuries and noone should be saying hes 90-95% healthy, its a bunch of bull and just an excuse for why the Heat suck.

Please.

IISC, some of the debates I've seen you have (re: Wade/LeBron/Kobe), you've always been the one to put the kid down on certain occasions, no matter what.

He starts to sit out, or what not, and it gives the naysayers another reason to 'hate' on the kid.

He's doing everything physically possible to help this team win games, and as our star player, that's all we can ask of him. He sits out, and we've all but raised the white flag, even though we figuratively have....

yes like i said those are minor injuries ...he hasnt even missed a game from those injuries..he's missed one from the flu ...and no the heat arent sucking cause hes injured because he's not ..their sucking because the team in general sucks and one player cant make a team .... wade had the best game of his career this season shooting 16-20 from the field for 48 pts and heat still lost ...that says it all

have u seen wade this year ??? theres been times during games where he would struggle to jump high enough to even dunk compared to last year he would dunk on bigs left and right .... he's not 100 % at all

1. You are right, I have "put the kid down" as you put it on a few occassions. My reasoning was this, if you are going to play, then have no excuses, hurt or not. If you are playing hurt and still losing, shut it down until you can help the team.

2. I am referring to not playing in an unnessary all-star weekend not games that actually mean anything.

I think you all are a bunch of exceptional tards...

after watching that Raps game its clear the Heat are blatantly tanking this crap-wad of a season...this is how it is, and the Heat will be back next year with a key addition from the draft...

as a result of the tanking, its pretty clear Wade's play is coming across as lethargic and apathetic, meaning he doesnt care and he is not trying...

I dont see this guy falling off the map so severely, nd he will rebound as well as the Heat next year!

mark these words!

at point number 1 .....wade is playing and theres been no excuses ...everyone knows the heat suck this year ..weather this player or that player is healthy ...because heat were losing even when zo was still playing or shaq or haslem or wade ... the team sucks and has no chemistry ..theres nothing much else to say ...

Then why participate in a meaningless all-star weekend instead of getting those 3-4 extra days of rest?

D-Wade is definitely hurt. The man can barely dunk anymore. Supposedly his arm still kills him. He also put on a lot of weight. This D-Wade we're seeing is not the real one, next year he'll be back.

i think what people are mad at is that the heat are 9-37 with top player in Dwayne Wade. Is he a top player or is he hurt? Or is he not hurt but a top player that gets his team to 9-37. If he's hurt then don't play in the all-star festivities. If he isn't then maybe this 9-37 record is indicative of his play or lack there of.

of course not necessarily my opinion. just playing devil's advocate.
