Celtics Vs Lakers

Post#1 » by Manexx » Tue Feb 5, 2008 10:23 pm

Who else wants to see a great rivalry back in the NBA. It will generate a lot of excitment. If they they happen to meet in the Finals, whodo you think have the advantage ? I think this will be unbelivable for all hoops fan.
The Leaders Kobe Vs KG
The helpers for the celtics Ray Ray, Paul, Rondo
Lakers Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Farmar
The Coaches Doc Vs Zen master.
KG will try to unprove his unclutchness and win a ring while Kobe will try to prove He can win a championship without Shaq.
Your thoughts ?

My thought is that it's going to be difficult for KG to "unprove his unclutchness"

Has Shaq won without a top10 player on his team?

I'd love this rivalry to be reborn. At first, I didn't think it was possible, but after watching Lamar Odom's pussy foul on Ray Allen, I'd say there's bound to be some revenge.

It's already going to be exciting whether we meet in the Finals or not! If we DO meet in the Finals, then hell yeah! maybe a few more people would watch than, for instance, a Spurs vs Cavs Finals!

Not really. There was just some guy named Wade, who won a finals MVP, shouldered the offensive load in the fourth at times. I think he was a role player, definitely not top 10.

i would go nuts to see kobe back in the finals but this time having him as the leader. and against a powerhouse like the celtics would make it even better.

i'm still not sold 100% that they're going to the finals but I think that a healthy bynum/gasol duo is going to be too much for duncan considering he would also have to deal with kobe. but until they're actually eliminated they're still the world champs.

i also wouldn't be 100% sure that the celtics are going to the finals. jesus has been looking old and we don't know how doc rivers is going to coach under pressure. the pistons and magic have also been looking very good and have beaten the celtics already this year.

but i do think that there is a pretty good chance that there will be if there aren't any major injuries.

p.s. scalebrine will be finals mvp

Shaq was the best in 2000 and 2001. In 2002 the only one who could be considered better was Duncan.
