It is official. Kobe Bryant and Richard Hamilton will both be in the 3 pt contest along with Gibson, Kapono, Steve Nash and Peja.

Looks like the 3pt contest just got interesting again.

Kobe's an idiot. How do you shoot 3s with a dislocated finger?

No Jason Richardson? Why, he's not leading the league in 3PM or anything is he?

Yes, but we're not talking NBA History, we're talking THIS SEASON.

Hell, if we're going by NBA history, let's get Bird, Reggie, Kerr, etc out on the field. :nonono:

Kobe's probably doing this just for fun but who knows. Maybe he's forreal this time unlike the Skills Challenge.

Ya since when does what a player has **** done over their career matter for a damn seasonal event like the 3pt shoot out?

No one is going to watch those 3 players. Everyone will watch because of Kobe. It's all about business.

but i would have loved j rich in the competition.
he could have been the first player to win both the dunk and the three contest.

I don't give a crap if Parker, Jones and J-Rich don't make it. I'd rather see Tmac, Vince, Kobe, Lebron in the 3 point shootout than have these those guys.

I think Kobe has a very good chance to win.

I'm a Laker Fan and I don't think Kobe will win, but on the other hand if he gets hot he can set a new record. Kobe is just a beast like that. Who knows what will happen? I would not normally give a crap about the 3pt contest but the bigger the names the more people will watch and the NBA knows that. Hell even MJ was in the 3pt contest and he sucked making like only a couple shots but it was fun just to have MJ a part of it.
