Why didn't the Suns pursue a Marion/Banks for Jermaine O'neal Deal? I think that would have made a lot more sense.

Shaq sells, and could be a bigger difference maker in a 7 game series.

I'm sure this will get locked for Heat/Shaq/Suns overload but, most likely because he is still injured and while he has had much better seasons, his numbers are actually on par with his career numbers this year and Shaq is a "name".

It is stupid deal based on the system the Suns play to pick up Shaq but I really don't think that O'Neal is much better either.

The other thing is that getting Shaq allows Amare to play his natural position instead of getting fouls trying to run back and forth playing interior defense.

in THIS years playoffs, if each somehow miraclously reverted to their old form, who would YOU prefer??? unless your tokin the crackpipe pretty hard then that should be an easy answer, and i assume Kerr would roll the dice on one of thge GOAT over a decent, injury prone PF. just my opinion though
