Which situation do you prefer?

1) Your star player dislocates his pinky his pinky on his shooting hand, he sits out the rest of the game, he then sits out the next 4 or 5 games to let it heal.

2) Your star player dislocates his pinky on his shooting hand, he plays the rest of the game in pain and doesn't sit out any games but shoots bad percentages for like the first 2 or 3 games possibly even losing a game or 2. He's not as good as he could be obviously but obviously he doesn't let his teammates down and keeps up that fighting mentality.
