Post#1 » by LakersSquad » Fri Feb 8, 2008 1:25 am

Im enjoying this the year You got the Spurs who are the Champs. You got Dallas You got the Lakers you got Shaq on the suns. you got Portland on the rise. Houston has a dominate big and Allstar Guard. You got the best big man in the game playing in orlando(again). The Celtics are back & Lebron is willing his teams to the top of the east!!!!!!! Oh yea I can't forget about the Hornets & Goldenstate. Oh yea what about Utah.

you gotta change a whole lot more than just a few teams getting 1 sided trades...

:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: officiating

new rules that equals 2 much fts/power to refs/slowness/momentum killers

a whole conference being 2nd tier(outside of det, bos, maybe cle, orl) to the other conference that has 10 playoff quality teams.

not enough nationally televised games & almost none on local channels through the rs

superstar officiating like its never been done before. Phantom calls make the nba look silly

more also, too tired to think of any more at the moment.

How does Trades matter? Refs was always on that superstar bull. I guess you just started watching.

Taiwan Killa (sp?) had this topic not even a week ago....

quick answer : no

but I like how a Laker fan suddenly brings up this topic.

no harm meant (I dig Kobe/Pau), just the timing seems a tad suspicious

since your a laker, probably kobe fan, I understand (kobe doesnt get half the fouls he use to though)

officiating was not different(involving so called superstars) in the early 90's(minus jordan), 80's, 70's, & so on?

trades matter cuz in your original post you mentioned celtics & lakers being back & shaq on the suns.

We have to wait till the playoffs and see how each series play out till we can say that the NBA is back to the "glory days." I do like it how we are finally seeing teams not hesitating to pull the trigger on some of these trades and signings.

What does being a laker fan have to do with it? I mentioned a lot of teams and I don't think the Lakers win it all this year.
