NBA Newsflash: Trades Galore!

Post#1 » by Toronto BC 07 » Fri Feb 8, 2008 5:26 am

Hey,

I decided to write about some of this week's headlines in the NBA. Would love to hear your guys/gals opinions on the Gasol trade, Shaq trade and the 3 pt shooters.

PS: Please vote on the Poll as I'd love to know what the divide is.

Another PS lol: Can the Raptors beat out the Cavaliers for the 4th seed? I think they can, but a lot of it has to do with who stays more healthy down the stretch.

Shaq/Nash/Amare can. With Marion out Diaw might need to put up better numbers and we all know he can.

Like canguy said, If Diaw can step it up and play like he did in his contract year, and some of the other role player's play a little better. Anything can happen. One thing I feal is for sure, is that Shaq cannot continue to play like he has in the early part of this season, If he does the Suns are one and done IMHO.

Interesting points about Diaw, but when a team is built on the word "if," I have found a lot of the time it is an utter disappointment and you are just heading towards failure.

Although I think it was a good move by Suns GM Steve Kerr, I still think they are one guard away from being where the Lakers are.

I didn't think I'd be saying that at this point in the season, but the Lakers have really upped the ante and forced the rest of the West to make a move as well.
