Build a team with great free throw shooters

you have 60 mil cap space

build a contending or playoff team with very good free throw shooters at starting five and bench.

Good freethrow shooting could probably earn teams 10 extra wins and a chance to contend.

$60M in capspace would not let you build that team...

Some non obvious choices

C - Brad Miller, Pau Gasol

PF - David West, Yi Jianlin

SF - Grant Hill, Caron Butler

SG - Ben Gordon, Jamal Crawford

PG - Sam Cassell, Keyon Dooling

Dunno if it is less than $60m, but looks cheaper

nicely done. Not a great free throw shooting team, but a decent one.

Farmar is a .70 one, Fisher and .88, Odom a .70, Bynum a .70, Kobe an .83, Gasol an .82

At least one person put some effort into it. Good looking team there Freude.

PG - Kirk Hinrich ($11m) 88.7%/Jose Calderon ($2.5m) 91.6%
SG - Kevin Martin ($1.8m-extension hasn't kicked in yet) 87.4%/Manu Ginobili ($9m) 83.1%
SF - Josh Howard ($9m) 81.8%/Danny Granger ($1.5m) 84.5%
PF- David West ($10.7m) 84.5%/Ronny Turiaf ($770,000) 71.9%
C - Yao Ming ($13.7m) 84.5%

I put in Turiaf because I only had $800,000 to stay under the $60 million cap, and I needed someone who could play both the 4/5 and was at least a decent FT shooter.

But I think this team could be a playoff contender
