A ton of hyped up high school ballers and college guys come into the league with so much expectation, but not all become a good player or even a good role player. OR what about players who were good in college.

Some college players I liked that never made it in the NBA:
PG - Khalid El-Amin from UConn
PG - Mateen Cleaves MState
PG - Ed Cota UNC
SG - Dajuan Wagner..mini bulky ai

SF - Darius Miles...i really thought he was going to be a beast.

+1

I was going to mention Marcus. Jerry Krause and the Bulls coaching staff back then messed up his career by trying to make him a Small Forward, even when it was quite obvious he was clear-cut 4.

Jay Williams, definitely. Some of those guys actually had enough playing time, and it seems like they never had talent or had enough effort to make themselves better. Williams, however, was showing signs of being a special player before his tragic accident...

If healthy, he could've been a top 5 PG in the NBA right now...
