Riley & Wade Possibility of Tampering??

Lamar was mic'd up for the game yesterday and before it started he had a couple of conversations with Riley and Wade that, upon interpretation, could be tampering..
Here's a link to the video if you didn't see it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hqR4GyCtJk
It goes like this
Riley: You know I love you right? When you were a rookie, then here, then free agent. You free again next year?
Wade: You know we need a 4 man next year?
Lamar: You know what's up
Do you guys think this could be seen as tampering by wade and riley? I don't think either of them knew Lamar had a mic. Please discuss

tampering indeed
if phil got fined for the comments he made about Bosh...then some actions gotta be taken towards the heat.

Definitely. If Phil got fined for the remarks he made about Chris Bosh last year where he didn't even have a Direct Conversation with him, he just said in the media that Chris bosh would be the "type"of player we would like in LA, then this should at least warrant an investigation.
I'm glad that this thread got unlocked btw.

Oh, so as long as you are smiling or laughing when doing it it's okay then?

I wouldn't be surprised if the league took some kind of action, though I don't view this as a big deal.
Phil got fined just for saying "Bosh would look good in a Lakers uniform" if I'm not mistaken, and this is kind of in the same neighborhood though Riley didn't go public which Phil did.
Asking a player under contract with another team if he's going to be a free agent (after you just told him you love him LMAO) could end up being view as tampering by the league, but again, no biggie IMO.

"There are some (free agents) that will be available in the year," Jackson said. "Following that you obviously have to take a look at and this kid here is one of them.
"Chris Bosh, obviously, everybody's going to be interested in. And we think he's become quite a talent."
^ Those are the comments PJ got fined $25,000 for.

Yeah not a big issue but considering Phil Jackson got fined for his innocent remark on Bosh, then yeah sure, let's fine Wade and Riley too.

True. It just sets a double standard in many ways, especially to Laker fans - but like everyone is mainly saying, it's not a big deal but in black and white terms this could be viewed as a league policy infraction

The PJ comments he got fined for, are just silly.
But, if those got him $25k, it wouldn't be shocking to see Riley get fined, too....

miami can have lamar... just give marion to lakers
now i would pay a lot of bucks to see suns vs lakers in playoffs if that happened...
Shaq and his past with lakers
Marion and his past with suns
on top of all the rivarly going on since they kept matching up first round

Stern likes his golden boy Wade so he won't punish him. He'll probably let Riley off as well just because he's so old.
