NBA WCF/ECF & Finals Winner & MVP???

Post#1 » by shobe_81 » Tue Feb 12, 2008 5:40 am

1. Who Will Win The WCF and ECF?

2. Who will with the Finals?

3. And Who will win the Finals MVP?

My answers:

1. Suns out of West (they've added the piece they are looking for, a inside defensive presence while at the same time retaining their fast-break system. Shaq's health will determine how they will do but if healthy I see them out of West beating Spurs in the WCF as we know Spurs cannot win back-to-back Finals :P . I would like the Lakers to win but they are young (not much playoff experience besides Fish/Kobe and Bynum's health is still questionable) Not this year IMO.

Celtics out of East because although they've had no playoff experience as the team they have right now, they've shown they can beat anyone (16-0 against West so far). Their defense is spectacular. KG/Allen/Pierce are hungry for the Chip and I think they will beat Pistons in a 7th game of the ECF.

2. Celtics will win the Finals because of what they are capable of doing so far this season. Suns will be tired from the beating taken from the tough West teams in the playoffs and Celtics will be fresh from having to only play one meaningful series (Against Pistons) out of East.

3. "The Truth" #34 Will win the Finals MVP IMO

laker homers? what about cavs? they didnt do anything to their team except lebron just got better... their veterans got worse... and they have tons of injuries... i know your going to say but hey they winning with those injuries... but you know what... the bench isn't all that much worse than the starters... lebron is doing everything and has been... take lebron out and that team will be competing with miami and minnesota for lottery picks...

lebron will get the team wins... but just like last year... the east is weak and the west got a lot of teams that are really good... any team that makes it alive to the finals from the west is battle tested and ready to take the crown.

Why bother putting in an Eastern conference team other then the Celtics and Pistons? I'd take your choice of Rockets, Spurs, Lakers, Jazz, Nuggets, Suns, Mavs, or Hornets over any /east team not named the Celtics. And I'd say Celtics are only above the hornets from that list. All the rest are on the same level or above the Celtics in a seven game series IMO.

1. Who Will Win The WCF and ECF?
Lakers west. Spurs are done, Phoenix cant play D (Shaq will be injured), everyone else wont be able to stop Kobe/Gas/Byn

Cavs east. Who cant they beat in the east? When you answer that I'll change this answer. Boston? We've won 2 of 3 against them and they have proven losers on their squad.

2. Who will with the Finals?
Homer pick, Cavs in 7. Hughes averages 33ppg during finals series.

3. And Who will win the Finals MVP?
Hughes, with his team leading ppg average and defence on Kobe.

Unless we make a big move before the trade deadline, we're not even a lock to make it to the playoffs, much less to advance out of the 1st round.

I don't know, T-back and Yao have been very injury prone despite their good run recently. They always break down in the playoffs. Honestly Houston cannot beat Spurs/Suns/Lakers & even Mavs

If tmac and yao are healthy in the playoffs there is no way spurs, suns, mavs or lakers beat us.

Rockets-Celtics, yeah baby. as we predicted, thats my dream finals.
what i think it would be? Mavericks or Suns vs Celtics, KG MPV.
