What happened to General Off Topic forum?

I see that there is still the Political and media portions of the Off Topic section, but what happened to the General area? Some of the best reading happens in that forum.

kyphi won't let me talk about my love for my sister anymore. Don't waste your time there. It's not as spicy or risque thanks to this unfortunate turn of events.
