Can female players ever play in NBA?

Post#1 » by Jaykoolzboy » Tue Feb 12, 2008 9:41 pm

There is an article on yahoo about some girl from Texas who is 6'8" and can dunk at her will.

I wonder would we ever see a female basketball player to ever play in the NBA?

after personally watching the entire Tenn vs. Rutgers game last night, i'd say no, never...

1000 fouls
2500 jacked up 3's
no rebounding prowess
bad shot selection

even Parker...she needs work in her own game...

plus the NBA will never allow a woman to play...

NBA players play with men
WNBA players play with women

Would a man be able to play in the WNBA because he's 5'9?

No.

I dun think there is any rules indicates that NBA is only for male players. Also there is a big salary difference, what if one day some perfectly build, 7'9" female player exists.

There wouldn't be a WNBA if women could play in the NBA.

he said Felmale not females..

you know felmales.. Males that practice demonic magic?

No they can never play without an equivalent white magic wizard to take away the advantage.

I'd take gandalf on my team...

I would have no problem with it, as long as whoever the girl is can actually play and is better then some people in the league. I wouldnt if she plays just because shes a girl tho.

There's no way women will ever to play in the NBA. The NBA game is way to physical and fast for them to keep up. It's interesting to watch a WNBA after watching an NBA game, it seems like the girls are in slow mo. I'd be willing to bet that the WNBA's best team couldn't come close to beating a DII college team, it wouldn't even be a game.

I dont even think there is a professional sport out there that is mixed gender on the same teams... (excluding something like figure skating or olympic stuff) not even some of the most non physical sports like golf
Sasha Vujacic = The Phail Machine = The Ring Blocker

Trade Sasha before he ruins the Lakers next season.

That's the point in the WNBA.

Although to be fair, I would actually watch the Knicks for once if they were to sign a female player.

The Best female player in the world today would be hard pressed to make the D league. so as things stand now no. and don't give me any crap about wnba being played better below the rim because that's garbage. There isn't a female player anywhere today that passes as well as the scrub guards in the NBA.
