Gibson and Kapono are the best spot up shooters there.

Peja is the best under pressure

Kobe, Rip and Nash dont really deserve to be there

It'd be smarter for the NBA to name players that would actually make the contest competitive while recognizing lesser-known players.
Nash, Kobe, Rip, and Peja shouldn't be there because they already are or have been all-stars.

Kapono, Gibson, James Jones, Calderon, Beno Udrih (Kings), and Matt Carroll (Bobcats) is the kind of lineup they should be shooting for.
The league would be better off by showcasing the players who are actually GOOD at what they do. Consider it a role-player's due respect. and they would have more teams be represented without having to worry about naming too many players from the same squad to the all-star game.

Im rooting for Kobe, not only because IM a Laker fan, but it would be ridiculous to see first player to do it with a dislocated finger on his shooting hand. lol.

Call me Crazy, but I think Nash is going to take it.

I don't know why Kobe is even in this thing. You can't compare Kobe's 3's to Peja and Kapono. They are statistically better and that's what they are know for.

No. That'd be horrible for the league. No body is going to watch that.

^ He won't even make 20. I like Kobe, but everyone except Richard Hamilton is better than him at 3's in this contest. I hope he can prove me wrong but there are just too many good shooter for Rip and Kobe.

Nash doesn't "deserve" to be there? Are you kidding me? That's stupid. He's 4th in the league at 3 point percentage at 47%, and 8th in the league in 3 pointers made. He's shot over 40% from the 3 point line every year except the lockout season. He's either the best or very, very close to the best shooter in the league.

Nash's release is too slow for this kind of thing

I'll take Peja

There's no reason anyone should pick anybody other than Kapono. He is the clear favorite.
