First Penny, then Kobe, now Wade...
"I've never had a point guard like him," O'Neal said. "As I was telling Steve, I haven't got an easy bucket in six years."

Wade is not a PG...

He has a way of hyping his current teammates.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Don't make such a big deal with Shaq's words, really.

Hmm, Wade wasn't a point guard. Maybe he's just joking about the "easy bucket" part because he has surely got his fair share of good passes and easy dunks in the past six years from Wade and Kobe.

Kobe Bryant gave Shaq plenty of easy buckets while he just stood in the paint and Kobe Bryant handed it to him. The same is probably true of D. Whistle.

LOL.
This was just waiting to happen. Shaq disses anybody he's ever played with. After he retires or gets traded again, he's going to say "I've never played with such a bad defender before *cough Nash cough*."

nore was Kobe, but i bet you your last damn dollar that Nash can't do what Wade or Kobe can do. I want to see Nash dunk the damn ball.

This wasn't intended to be an insult, he was just pointing out that he's never played with a PG like Nash....

This is Shaq, nothing to write home about.

Kobe was the best thing to happened to Shaq IMO. Wade or Nash wasn't as good as Kobe was around Shaq, but at least he was good enough to get a championship. Maybe Nash can do the same for Shaq one last time.

Kobe and Shaq played together for quite some time before they started to win titles.
It wasn't until Phil Jackson took over, did he get BOTH on the same page, for the better of the team.
So, if anything, it's Jackson, that was the best thing to happen to Shaq, if you wanna even go that route...

This is Shaq being Shaq, he has never had any class. Nothing new here.

I am very disappointed in him.

Kobe was 18, 19, 20 before Jackson took over. It was the combination of Kobe's readiness and Phil Jackson's arrival that sky-rocketed the Lakers and Shaq.

True, but I'm talking about as a player impact. I can't say if Nash will do what Kobe and Shaq did together, but I think that Kobe really played great with Shaq and he probably was the best passer to him.

Yes, Kobe maturing, as well as Shaq doing the same thing, is what changed the duo of Shaq/Wade into a title contending one.
Jackson had a HUGE part, too.

the thing is that he said the exact same thing after he left LA, about wade. also said that about riley.
I'm just waiting for him to proclaim dan'toni as the best coach he has ever played for
