Just assume your fav team goes all the way to the NBA Finals, and it is 3-3 prior to Game 7. Against who would you like to play and what would be the most fulfilling scenario?

DALLAS - vs Miami. Down by 13 with 6 min left, Dirk goes on a scoring onslaught and scores 13 points. Down by one with 1 sec left, Dirk drives to the basket and gets a touch foul by Dwyane Wade. Dirk sinks both and is named Finals MVP. (Comment: I don't know what is less realistic, Heat making the Finals or Dirk showing cojones.)

BOSTON - vs Lakers. With 12s to go, Kobe sinks a clutch three pointer which puts LA ahead by 1. But with 3s to go, Rondo drives to the basket and hits a junior sky hook over Bynum and Gasol. Kobe misses buzzer beater. Finals MVP: Pierce. (Comment: if Rondo tries this 100 times, he will make it 0.2 times)

Portland somehow beating the Lakers with a half court buzzer beater to cap a 25 point comeback in the 4th. Well, this is my dream anyways. I will settle for the WCF though. If it HAS to be a team from the East, sub in Toronto.

Houston VS Chicago - With 8s on the clock and the Rockets down by 1, Battier inbounds to McGrady. McGrady attempts to cross over Hinrich, but Kirk gets a hand on the ball, forcing McGrady to fumble the ball into Shane Battiers hands. Battier, with but a precious second left on the clock, attempts to launch a shot, but Tyrus Thomas comes soaring in with the game (and ultimately Championship) saving block.

As a Bulls fan I would like to see Luol Deng hit the game winner over Tim Duncan.

As a NBA Fan I would like to see Boston vs Houston go at it with it coming down to t-mac vs Pierce with T-mac with the ball and the Rockets down 1. T-mac FTW.

If that game involves the Rox, I would like the Bucks to play them. Imagine the TV ratings in China if Yao and Yi duke it out.

If the Rox win, I want T-Mac to drop 13 in the last 37 seconds. EDIT: come on, it is a dream, make that 14 in 30 or so.

If the Bucks win, I want Yi to hit a Kareem-like last-second hook shot over Yao.

SCENARIO:

15 seconds left in the 4th and its celtics ball. ray allen is dribbling to expire time, and suddenly kobe taps it away and snatches the loose ball. *time out* (8 seconds)

lamar odom inbounds to kobe bryant. kobe dribbles to the wing, blowing thru a screen by bynum, and pulls up for the game winner at the buzzer.

Magic vs Rockets

Rockets down 1 with 5 seconds left. T-Mac drives in for an uncontested dunk, but Howard meets him at the rim and blocks it, knocking T-Mac down and palming the ball in the process.

Dwight comes down with the ball in his hands, standing there as the buzzer goes off.

Jazz/Celtics

I'd want the Celtics simply because that would mean the most people would be watching. Celtics up 102-100 with 3.5 left on the clock. Game is in Salt Lake after the Jazz end the regular season on a tear and the Celtics play close to .500 ball after the all-star break. Ball comes into Deron and he immediately takes it strong to the rack, but Perkins and Garnett completely deny him any room in the paint, but out of the corner of his eye sees Korver wide open behind the 3-point line. Deron kicks him the ball and Pierce frantically runs to catch him, but Korver gets a decent look off and buries it. Jazz win 103-102.

Spurs/Pistons (ratings be damned, this is revenge)

Billups hits a three pointer at the buzzer over Parker who attempted an obvious flop but didn't get the call.

WC finals: Lakers vs Timberwolves

timberwolves up by 2 with 4 seconds on the clock. LA is set to inbound the ball. minny is looking to shut down kobe and deny him any chance to get the ball because he made 7 shots in a row and scored until now already 43 points. Lamar Odom is set to inbound the ball. all of a sudden Lamar walks the ball inbounds. Kobe, Phil Jax and the whole arena (staples center) is going nuts trying to smack Odom's ass.

MVP of that series: Al Jefferson while averaging 29/14/3/2.3 and keeping Andrew Bynum to 12/7/2/1

Finals: Celtics vs Timberwolves

celtics up by 3 with 28 seconds to play and with the ball set to inbound. it's rondo's job to do that. but the wolves play a shut down defense by giving no space for the other players to recieve the ball. what happens? Rondo let's the 5 seconds expire and didn't make it in time to call a TO. minny has the chance to cut the lead to 1 or to tie it. the ball goes down to big al. as it was to expect the triple team comes. pierce, garnett and perkins try to cover him and force him into a turnover. Big Al, using his recently gained passing abilities makes the pass from the left low block to the right corner where Antoine Walker is waiting to receive a pass and drain the 3 pointer. after he catches it he immidiatly rises up and shoots it. nothing but net!!! the Shimmy Shake is the only logical consequence. game is tied. Doc Rivers takes the TO. atfer the TO allen has difficulties to inbound the ball too but just before the 5 seconds expire he takes another TO (their last one). after they finally got the ball into the bounds the Celtics didn't execute what Doc said. Ray Allen chucks up a 3 way too early (more than 5 seconds to play). the ball rims out and Antoine Walker grabs the rebound. they immidiatly call a TO. the last play is designed for Big Al to take it inside. on the way back to their positions just before Marko Jaric is set to inbound the ball Big Al is trash talking to KG. KG says something like "11 times all star"... Big Al is responding "but no championship as I will have in 5 seconds" and Big Al continues that by saying "guard me 1on1 soft a$$ b*tch". KG feeling his pride attacked does that. the ball goes to Big Al as it was expected. KG is giving him no room but Big Al is showing his repertoire of great post moves by pumpfaking once and spinning around garnett. with a nice left handed baby hook he sinks the rock just about when the buzzer sounds. the wolves are champs!!!! Big Al gets the MVP honor while having monster stats (33/15/4/3).

I wish these dreams would be real some day

Magic vs. Lakers

Two minutes left. Lakers up by 8. Kobe drives in for a dunk, but is met at the rim by Howard, who rejects the shot into Hedo's hands beginning a fast break. Rashard finishes with a thunderous dunk. With one minute left, the Magic inbound the ball. They work it around for 20 seconds until Nelson drives. Fisher steps in front of him, but Nelson kicks it out to Hedo who hits the clutch three. On the other end, the Lakers use the full shot clock for a Kobe jumper. With 33 seconds left, the score is 100-95 Lakers. On the inbound, Rashard gets the ball, hits a quick three, and draws contact. He hits the FT with 27 seconds left, 100-99 Lakers. Lakers then use the entire shot clock to set up a three for Kobe, but it rattles out. Dwight gets the rebound with 1.7 seconds left. On the inbound, Hedo inbounds to Nelson, gets it back, and hits the game-winning jumper. He then does the Turkey dance.

Warriors vs. Celtics-
Warriors down by 1, Baron throws it down over KG at the buzzer for the win.

Spurs vs Raps

With 15 seconds on the clock Bosh walks right through Manu (Manu obviously flops) and crams it all over Timmy.

10 seconds left

Spurs have not time outs left and inbound from their basket. Delfino steals the inbound, but bricks the shot as usual, but Caldy gets the long offensive board, and hoists up an off balance, no look, one handed three ball but it only gets air.

Timmy is in position for the easy board but Manu flies out of nowhere to be the hero and tips the ball into his own hoop as time expires.
