ESPN just said Shaq debut will be against the Lakers, Feb 20

Post#1 » by ljp24 » Thu Feb 14, 2008 2:13 am

Lisa Salters said Shaq won't be tomorrow and today, making his debut after the All-Star break on ESPN.

Good rivalry game and a game for Western playoff position.

It's a shame the game is at Phoenix, though.

Would love to see Shaq playing the Lakers in LA as a Sun.

Lol, when you thought the Shaq-Kobe thing finally ended...
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

I dont get why people are making this into a Shaq/Kobe thing...
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

Good game for Shaq to come back. He has no need to rush and it's a perfect time after all-star break.

This game should really be on TNT. After all, they know drama.

I'd seriously consider playing Turiaf in that game just to piss off Shaq taking Radmanovic out of the lineup. Odom will have a field day against Grant Hill.

I don't expect Phil to do that though. They'll just try to help Gasol...

Do you know they used to be on the same team? They won championships together. Then things were said, people were angered, moves were made, friendships were ended, a rivalry started. Or something.

Anyways, that's a pretty ballsy move by Shaq. Or maybe he just wants the excuse of it being his first game in case he sucks.

Depending if he's healthy or not it might not be pretty for the Lakers. They match up FAR better with Pheonix with Bynum. In fact with Bynum it'll be a big win...

Just like every other time they've matched up right?

Bynum had that one big dunk on him, i think his rookie year, but thats about it
