Monta Ellis = B.E.A.S.T

Is there a more natural scorer in the league? Before everyone hits me with "OMG Kobeee", Ellis has next to no three point range yet he is nearly unstoppable. He is an incredible finisher, probably the best when you take into account his size. His mid-range game is quickly becoming the best in the NBA. Everything he does on the floor is so incredibly smooth, once he gets locked onto the rim he rarely misses. It just seems so easy to say "keep him on the perimeter and you'll stop him", yet no one seems to be able to do this. To top it all off he is an extremely efficient scorer given his 50%+ field goal percentage.

It amazes me how people just need their comments shown.

Why are these random threads put up after Golden State wins? Can't you fans just accept the win and not hype up the players after the game? God.

He blew up the Suns tonight for 37 points with get this: only 2 free throw attempts and 0 three point attempts. How often do you see a player do that without having 8-10+ free throw attempts or a bunch of made three pointers?

Who cares? Post this in the game thread! That is what it is for.

Nah.
He just abuses Nash the same way Baron abuses Terry/Harris.

I don't think that guy is a Warriors fan, i've never heard of him before.

About Monta, the OP is making him seem REALLY OVERRATED. To be non biased, Monta has a really good mid range game going and is possibly the quickest player in the league. He led the league in fastbreak points last season and is doing the same this season as well.

His last 10 games he's averaging over 25 points on 71% shooting.

First off chump, he aint a GSW fan.

But for the rest of you who always argue...

Ben Gordon > Ellis

Kevin Martin > Ellis

That's a really good point. But seriously though, stop getting so excited. You're making Monta seem overrated right now.

Damn why are you hella mad for?

The OP is talking about how well Monta has been playing in RECENT GAMES and how he's shooting over 50% for the season. If Monta's performance tonight was a one hit wonder then I would see why you would be mad.... but he DIDN'T. Like I mentioned in previous threads, Monta has been playing out of his mind as of late.

I think it won't take long until Monta will be on the same level as Rip Hamilton when it comes to mid range shooting. Even Reggie Miller himself said it. But that's about it. Monta's great and all but nothing to get so overly excited about.

hahaha anyways, yea monta's been playing like a beast past 10 games. and i think he deserves a thread. all this talk about kevin martin and ben gordon and devin harris being better than monta.... yea ok. let your game speak. monta went head to head with kevin martin couple days ago, and result was as expected... and tonight he did the same. his midrange is jordanesque and he explodes to the hoop. gotta love his game.
