If I interpreted your post correctly, The Bay is one of the five largest markets in the US, but unfortunately, it's right next to SoCal, the so-called glamour market of the world. Thus, people always will (but shouldn't and hopefully won't in the future) see the the Bay teams as inferior to the SoCal teams, hence the blackballing of the dubs.

As a matter of fact, people say that if Run SMB's jerseys said "Knicks" or "Lakers" they would be perennial All-Stars, which is definitely, unfortunately, right on.

BUT I personally think that should the Warriors' good play continue, they will be covered much more.

Yeah I know. And also there's a bias against the Warriors since they are just a team full of "thugs" who always want to fight. :dontknow:

How about we trade all of our players for goody two shoes choir boys and maybe the team will get some respect.

This is a family oriented league anyways. A "show", not an intense competition between teams and players. Any sign of emotion is uncalled for. If you scream, frown, laugh, or clap, you will end up with a TECHNICAL FOUL. Players should at all times be quiet like Tim Duncan and they will be liked around the league. If you breathe on someone on defense, the whistle will be blown and you will get called on for the foul.

I hate that black guy Stephen Jackson. All he wants to do is fight fight fight and yell yell yell. Tell him to shut up, I hate his passion for the game. I hate thuggish ruggish hippity hoppish people. Even if his team has the best record in the Western Conference since his return, I could care less about his "importance" because he's so black and ghetto. I only give credit to the good boys.

WHAT? An article about Stephen Jackson?

Get that BS out of here. He's a thug... and chucking, fighting, shooting guns, and getting technicals is all he's good for.

This thread is (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

The answer is obviously that every player would be more recognized if they played in a bigger market. With the possible exception of guys like LeBron, who couldn't really get any more recognized.
