What Dwight did wasn't really a dunk, it's more of like a layup from above the rim.
Didn't Rudy Gay or Jamario Moon miss a dunk when they threw the ball in, and then tried the dunk again because they didn't touch the rim on the first try?
The only reasons why the Superman "dunk" is so GREAT:
1) The Superman outfit that got the crowd going crazy before the dunk
2) The guy doing it is the lovable Dwight Howard
I bet if it was anything other than that, no one would have liked it. For example, if it was Kwame Brown without a cape, missing the rim and throwing the ball in the net, everyone would laugh at him and say "Ahhah! Kwame Brown sucks he threw the ball in the net instead of actually dunking it!!"
It's still a great move though. I was out of my seat but I got disappointed when I saw the replay showcasing how Dwight didn't even reach the rim.

Are you an idiot? He could easily dunk from the FT line. Even Jordan did, and Vince had better hops 6-8 years ago than Jordan ever did. And your "win" comment makes no sense. Are you saying he's never won anything? He's won plenty - Rookie of the Year, 2000 Slam Dunk Competition, 3 playoff series (2 without homecourt advantage), Olympic Gold Medal, 49 games in one regular season.
It's Chris Bosh who has never won anything. Not Vince Carter.

Damn that video brought back some good memories. God I wish we had that vince right now.
Anyway vince easily could have done any of the dunks that dwight, jamario, gerald or rudy did.
But dwight brought it to a new level with the superman cape. I think jamario and gerald could have done that dunk but if they did they wouldn't have gotte 50 without the superman costume.
