Looking at those 2 brackets is just another reminder of what a complete JOKE the eastern conference is. Alright I got my obligatory "the east sucks" comment out of the way...
West
Lakers in 5 over GS
Phoenix in 7 (really wanted to say Rox, but t-Mac...well, nevermind)
San Antonio in 6 over DAL
Utah in 7 over NO (this would be a VERY exciting matchup to watch)
East
Boston in 4
Detroit in 4 (is NJ really in the playoffs?! LMAO

)
Orlando in 4
Cleveland in 7
edit: Just noticed the Lakers have more home games left than any other playoff team. They have a good chance at holding onto the #1 seed.

1st Round
Lakers in 5
Phoenix in 7
Spurs in 6
Hornets in 6
Celtics in 4
Pistons in 4
Wizards(if healthy) in 6
Cavaliers in 7
2nd Round:
LAL vs. NOH - Hornets in 7
PHX vs. SAS - Spurs in 6
BOS vs. CLE - Celtics in 5(6 Max)
DET vs. ORL - Pistons in 6
Conference Finals:
NOH vs. SAS - Spurs in 7
BOS vs. DET - Celtics in 6
FINALS:
BOSTON CELTICS vs. SAN ANTONIO SPURS
Kevin Garnett vs. Tim Duncan
The Three Amigos vs. The Fearsome Threesome
The Future vs. The Past
This finals match up has every storyline imaginable. 3 Hungry stars craving that title and in order to obtain it they have to dethrone last years champs. It would be the PF match up that McHale robbed the NBA fans of. Will the Spurs finally repeat or will The Big 3 get the title that they've longed for? With all that said I believe the NBA CHAMPIONS WILL BE:
BOSTON CELTICS
Yes I might be drinking the green kool aid but I still believe this is our year.

OMG the west is SOOOO loaded. I think almost every series throughout the WC playoffs is going to be 6-7 games.
West:
Lakers in 5
Houston in 7
Spurs in 6
Jazz in 7
Sweep city, Fairly easy 1st round with the exception of cleveland's matchup with toronto. It all depends on if some1 can neutralize bron kuz i think torontos roster is a bit better.
East:
Celtics in 4
Pistons in 4
Magic in 5
Cleveland in 7

T-Mac's inability to get past First Rd is well known, but this yr would be the same pt in his career KG finally won a series. Kobe has yet to win a series w/out Shaq,Grant Hill has never won a series,Gasol's never won a Playoff Game,so there are quite a few w/something to prove.

don't say Kobe hasn't won a series W/O Shaq, you're going to offend many people dude, even if it is the truth..
I'm not going to predict, because in all likelihood, the West standings will change either tonight or tomorrow..I would love it if the Spurs play Dallas though..it would have been a fairly good matchup with Diop and Harris, but I think it would be fairly easy without the 2 of them in the lineup vs. TP and Duncan..

As tight as the west is right now, it is interesting to see that San Antonio is only 1/2 out of first place.

It's amazing how the Hornets dropped from 1 to 5th seed in one day..
