I think the Lakers, they have the easiest remaining schedule left.

I forgot to add Utah to the poll.

Also the Lakers have 17 losses currently and teams that can possibly beat them are:

Portland (3x)
Golden State (2x)
Dallas (3x)
New Orleans (2x)
Houston (1x)
San Antonio (1x)
Utah (1x)

Those are teams that can possibly beat the Lakers. They also play teams they should easily beat but they may lose to as well.

I think 58-24 will needed to have the #1 seed out west.

That can be a pretty general statement. Can apply to any team out there, especially i the west.

I do think SA will eventually get it together and go on a huge run when TP gets back to 100%. Aging or not, they are the epitome of a real team. I still have them as favorites out west.

Oh my bad. Entire playoffs?

Most likely Boston.

I was under the impression that this was about the west, like 98% of the threads on here.

Boston may not even get homecourt advantage throughout the entire east....Detroit is only 2 games back

I'll go w/the Lakers, they have an easy schedule the rest of the way

Probably be Boston or Detroit cause the West teams are just going to slug it out against each other. Most of the West "contenders" play each other towards the end of the season and there is no real team separating themselves from the pack.

Detroit or Boston, was almost completely sure it was going to be Boston going into the All-Star break, but with Detroit only two games back, on it's last trip out west, and with 5 home games to make up, they have a shot.
