Better cast? Wade's Current team, or kobe's old team?

Just wondering who you guys think has a better supporting cast around them. Wade's team this year with :
PG: Jwill,
SF: Ricky Davis or Dorrell Wright,
PF: Marion,
C : Blount.

Or Kobe's team 2 years ago ?

PG: Smush Parker
SF: Luke Walton
PF: Lamar
C: Kwame

Similarities among the two: Both Wade and Kobe have to give god-like performances to be competitive.

I would take Wade's team over Kobe's in a heartbeat to be honest. That lakers team was the definition of over achieving. Although none of us would admit it at the time.

Well, the Heat have only had Marion for a handful of games and Blount is statistically the worst rebounding 7-footer ever. Miami's team is just constructed terribly and the Heat are tanking. They'll be back next year.

Was Luke Walton the starting SF two years ago? I thought he became the starter last year.

No, he was starting two years ago during Phil's first year back. He wouldn't of started for any other coach. But Phil liked him and what he could do in the triangle.

Wades supporting cast is definitely better no question.

Are you sure? I could've sworn I remember seeing some segment when Phil asked Luke to be ready to become a starter last season?

no team is worse when you have smush and kwame starting.

PG: J will > Smush but by a hair only because they both suck.and considering not even smush gets minutes in miami
SF: Wright has been pretty good.. ricky davis not great either but Walton was okay 2 years ago when he didnt have a fat check. I say equal, but wright better than walton now.
PF: Marion is techinically better than Odom... hard question since I haven't seen marion play enough with miami... it could very well be that odom is better in a bad team with a bad pg.
C: Blount > Kwame... Blount atleast has hands.

I'd take Kwame over Blount. I remember reading an SI statistician article a few years back and it revealed Mark Blount as the worst rebounding 7-footer in the league.

As it turns out, he's averaging 3.6 rebounds in 21.5 minutes this season. For a 7-footer.

As soon as I read the title of this thread I knew it was created by a Kobe fan before I even read the name of the original poster and I even knew who's supporting cast the original poster would say is better. This is just a manipulated attempt to say Kobe is better than Wade. "Kobe had more wins than Wade despite an inferior cast, thus I have proven Kobe is better than Wade".

I think anybody who knows anything about basketball knows Kobe is better than Wade. This thread just makes the original poster look desperate to find ppl to ride Kobe.

I was a bit surprised that it took almost one page for someone to write that

Jwill>Smush

JWill can actually pass and make a few shots. And believe it or not his defense is better than Smush.

Davis>Walton
Atleast Ricky Davis take pressure off of Wade so he won't get double teamed every fricken time.

Marion>=Odom
IMO Odom is better but most people say Marion is better. Marion was a 3 time all star Odom a 2 time allstar. BTW Shaq this season was better than Odom.

Blount>Kwame
Can Blount catch as pass? If the answer is yes he's better than Kwame. Kwame has no offensive game what so ever. He can't shoot, can barely dunk, can't make a layup, can't catch the ball. All he can do is hold his position against strong back to the basket centers.

Wow. Suspicious much?? I just wanted to know who had a better cast. I don't need to go fishing for compliments for Kobe. I'll let the lakers' current standings do that. You got to admit there's a definite similarity between the two rosters though.

To write that or to realize that?

Yeah Luke started for most of the season if I remember right. I think Phil attempted the Twin tower lineup with Kwame at PF and Mihm at center with LO at the 3. But Kwame and Mihm couldn't co exist in the paint, and then Mihm suffered what turned out to be a 3 year ankle injury and Luke got the nod since.

outside of lamar to marion, i like wade's supporting cast better.

but i honestly, thiunk this debate is irrelevent since the heat are just blatantly tanking and wade isn't gonna mess it up. he's a team player. i guess. assuming their draft pick helps their team.

They're both better than McGrady's in Orlando.
